What our guest are saying about Ooostel2.be

  •   Well, it was cheap.. And is worth the money you pay for. At least you have a roof. It is a self check-in hotel, don't expect much services. But once again it is cheap and there is all the basics you need. Except for soap and shampoo, bring yours! I would recommend only if you are ready to accept some promiscuity and if you want to save some money, which is the main asset of this room as once again, it is cheap!

Beautiful, tidy and modern hostel to stay in Leuven! Next to the train station and less than 10 min walking to the city centre!

  •   Well organized self check-in. Everything is clean and the last renovation seems to have happened recently. The wireless LAN is reliable and fast. The only negative point are rather thin walls, you may hear guests next door. A fridge is available in the Room and a microwave in the hallway.

Simple, cheap, self-checkin. Nothing exceptional, but a calm place to sleep before going to the airport ;-) the best to the airport is only a 5-minute walk from there

I have stayed in many different hotels in my job. I stayed at the Hostel2be because of a very early flight out of BRU. The room is great and very clean, took 2 minutes to setup the bed. Nice big bathroom and the kitchenette works perfect. Overall I think you get a really great room for the price and you are close to the airport. Only suggestion is perhaps in the future to put something on the windows so you can see out, but not able to see in from the outside.

Awesome place for shorter/mid range budget stays. A cozy studio kind of room with a decent sized couch which can fit 2 people with one blanket and two pillows. Has all kitchen utensils if anyone wants to cook. Cons: No door/curtain for the bathroom

  •   It was the best hostel that I had stay, it was clean, and tidy. You can get late because they have a system of self check in. If you´re smart, that is your hostel.

Bon service. Tout ce qu'on demande à un hotel pour un séjour de court durée.

The hostel is fine and pretty nice for what you pay. BUT: The biggest problem was the check-in. This whole self check-in thing doesn´t work. We arrived late at night (which they knew) and were locked out with all our stuff. We got lucky and after a while got the attention of another guest who helped us get in contact with the hostel. They didn´t send us any information about the check-in process, which they should have. (You need a number of a locker and a code) If you don´t have this information you have to write them on whatsapp, but with our foreign phones that wasn´t an option. We got lucky, if the other guest wouldn´t have been awake we would have been locked out with all our stuff

Interesting concept but very disappointed with the execution. A place such as this does not deserve to be charging 55 euros a night. People suffering from claustrophobia beware there are no windows. For everyone else this should be your last resort. Very poor check-in: No clear instructions of where keys actually are... Very poor security: the keys turned out to be in a drawer that is unlocked in a public space, inside an envelope with your name and room number clearly visible, so anyone can access your room before you arrive Very poor communication: No-one around to help if there are issues, despite providing phone numbers for Carolina and others. On arrival we found out the surrounding streets were all closed off due to roadworks but we were not informed of this by the management team ahead of time. No fresh air: All rooms are designed to be self contained cubicles without windows, and the ventilation unit was unable to provide any fresh air and/or lower the room temperature. Despite pleading for help, we did not hear back from Carolina and we had to bear through a sweaty night. If you suffer from claustrophobia then stay away! Other issues: Lack basics like kettle. Poor construction eg shower doors do not close properly etc... Pictures of roadworks and check-in drawers which are easily accessible by anybody below. @Management team, pls improve the check-in arrangements including security of the keys, for the sake of your guests!
